Cleaning out the garage. There will surely be more to come.

All items OBO & located in Amherst, 2 minutes from UB South.

For all the new members of the homeowner crew, wire your place up for data…

SOLD $50 — RG6 - Remnant of a 1,000’ spool. This is nice, 3 Ghz bandwidth, brand name used by alot of DISH Network installer, QUAD sheilded RG6. I used approximately 200’ of it…

SOLD $50 — Cat 6 data cable. 550 mhz rated Cat 6 with a PVC jacket. Can be run in plenum, or in wall, or underground if you choose too. Admittedly, it is a pita to strip because of the jacket. I used ~300’.

–The CAT6 is CMR rated. It is industrial grade Riser rated cable. Not sutible for use in Plenum environment, Cable Tray, or in Conduit. Only in vertical runs in walls, or residential use in walls and ceilings. CMR is also suitable for outdoor runs as it is CMX rated also, but not for direct burial, or outdoor runs in conduit.–

$20 — Cat 3 data cable. I dunno what its rated for, but I used it to run phone / fax lines throughout the house. 3 pair, you can run three phone lines on one cable. I didn’t use very much.

$10 for the bag — HIGH bandwidth coax barrels. These are malee on both sides, they can be used to splice to Coax lines together, or they can be used in Coax Keystones. These are the 3ghz barrels, not the crappy ones you find locally. If you are watching digital television in your home, you should use these over clear or white barrels.

SOLD $50 — D-Link DIR - 655 Xtreme N Wireless 802.11 N / G / B Router. Almost new - used for ~2 months. Still has the plastic coat… Great router, great signal strength for us.

$50 — 42" x 32" glass block window. Great condition - can be reused / installed. We replaced it with a double hung, and I was going to break this up and use the blocks for landscape decoration (with a rope light behind them, or similar)… It’s heavy, but can be moved pretty easily.

SOLD - $50 --- Dewalt Sawzall - about 6 months of use on it, but I was given another one as a present, so the older one is FS. Little dirty, works great.

ONE AVAILABLE - $5 each, $10 for both — Chicken wire. Great for lining a dog or pet pen, so that they can’t dig out underneath your fence. Or, for chicken coops I guess.

if the cat 6 is still around next weekend ill take it

Good price on the Dish network switch. Those are $199 brand new from Dish.

Do you have the power inserter for it?

Interested in sawzall, hopefully will have some extra spending money soon.

$10 for the bag — HIGH bandwidth coax barrels. These are female on both sides, they can be used to splice to Coax lines together, or they can be used in Coax Keystones. These are the 3ghz barrels, not the crappy ones you find locally. If you are watching digital television in your home, you should use these over clear or white barrels.

Wouldn’t these be male?

really? i have like 6 of those

Cat 6 panel and jacks, you do not need to strip wire, just punch it down, they are insulation piercing clips.

I am interested in the sawzall I will PM you tomorrow

$35 for sawzall?

come and get it. I’ll be in the garage all day tomorrow.

Good point, no I don’t think that I do.

Yes, thank you.

Good call, edited.

is that coax cable rated for underground? i need to run a line up to my house and it needs to be buried the entire way.

The Dish switch will still work without the power inserter as long as you have a DishPro receiver and don’t hook up more than 3 sats FWIW.

It’ll be fine for burial. We use pretty much the exact same wire at Dish and bury it all the time.

I will come and get the sawzall where are you located? I will swing by tomorrow after 4 if that’s cool with you?

^ PM’d

more info on that router? does it work well?

Will be by tomorrow, also I will take a roll of chicken wire. thanks.

what more info do you want? there is a link to the manufacturer’s page.

It worked great. I didn’t want to stop using it, but VZ gave us a wireless router/modem…

i will take the cat6, rg6, and the keystone stuff.

yes i saw it right after i posted that was my fault, as i might pick this up, but only have a G card though.

works with G as well. We had a B & a G laptop… no problem.

In any case, someone is supposed to come grab it tonight.

1st post updated.
