This is an excellent upgrade for 240sx, maybe not as flashy as other much more expensive brakes out there, but for sure as much effective.
You can get them new with rotors for $400 USD from FRSport.com and for extra $160 they’ll include Hawk pads and stainless lines -->http://www.frsport.com/Nissan-S13-S1…it_p_2201.html.
Shipping to Canada should be no more than $80 and our authorities will ask you for some extra change when you pick it up, but hey - if you can afford it - go for it.
not that the rear is not necessary, the trouble of doing the rear makes people overlook the job, unless you don’t need an e-brake cable( wich you do for safety) you need to redo the e brake cable, need to take q45 rear hub setup somehow fab it up to your 240, get ebrake cable extension kit,
Same work needs to be done on a z32 rear brake conversion for 240sx…
meaning new rear suspesion will be necessary
this is why the front is done often, but not the back.
You don’t really need to upgrade rear calipers when using Q45’s in the front to have well ballanced front/rear brakes, that’s why Nismo recommended these as an upgrade for 180/240sx.
Most people also don’t realize that because of Q45 sliding caliper design there is more room for lower offset - deeper dish rims in the front than when using z32 fixed calipers.
