is he pretty friendly? Can he be taken out of the cage and be trusted to come back? Does he stay on/near his owner?
edit: that cage is WAY too small for a sugar glider

you don’t let them outside. But they can crawl into some tight spots, and they are FAST. Only hope to getting them back if they run off in the house is to put their pouch down near them and hope they make a break for the pouch.
Mine used to run up the blinds on the windows and when I would try to grab him from up there, he would just jump over me and glide to the floor lol.
they can, thats why the new owner needs to realize a lot of play time. Some hardcore enthusiasts/owners say that sugar gliders take more time to care for than horses.
They are an awesome animal though, just need to be properly cared for and “trained” by their owner.

yeah, their gliding is not really like you would expect. It basically just cushions their landing. It is not really as graceful as you would picture in your mind.
