420a head is totally and completely different than the Neon head. The 420a is generally just kinda shitty, mostly since it’s in a Mitsu. :rx3:

Though, honestly, when it comes to NA DSMs, it’s probably a better motor than the NA 4g63.

Not to mention, the 420a is a lower output then the neon, and probably has a lesser aftermarket as well. There’s ALOT of 2.0L DOHC neons, running 13’s all day, N/A. Mostly due to its large aftermarket support.
