I have a slightly used 14b turbo for sale. It doesnt leak oil and has no forward backward shaft play and minimal side to side play. The compressor and turbine blades and in great condition. The turbo has recently been cleaned not rebuilt as it does not need it. It includes turbo extention with O2 bung to attach to downpipe. Great for any small custom turbo project. It is currently located in my appartment in Peterborough, but I go between Brampton and there everyweek. Availible for pickup in Brampton or drop-off if it is on my way between the two above mentioned places. Asking $100 flat.
so whats the exhaust flange on it? TD05H? how is that compared to t3 or t4? im not new to turbos, but im new to the deeper understanding of them.
let me know please. if its a relatively common flange for a ka-t setup, i may be intrested.
I beleive the T3/T4 Turbos use a sqaure flange: [:[]:] Where as the TD05h uses a round style : []. I have heard of guys using this in their KA-T setups but it is for VERY FAST spooling lower rpms. I’m talking full boost around 2700-3000rpm. The motor wont be able to surpass about 6000rpms. Thats where it will run out of steam. If thats what you are looking for this is for you. This is the setup I am going to be using but instead of the TD05H turbo I’m using a T25(relatively the same size). Both are lagless setups but you lose your topend. Its a give and take. Hope this helps.
