rly?
lol
srsly
not rly im extremly happy with the neptune, especially the throttle adjustable launch setting…:baller:
i may get mike to tune me on neptune just so i can have that variable launch control.
Ever use hondata? That’s available too. Plus Evans likes hondata better as it’s more user-friendly for tuning; actually he won’t touch a neptune-programmed machine. IMO, that’s enough for anyone to get hondata.
^^ lol what?
neptune is fine.
Do you like men?
lol hondata is a great tuning software but i think most people agree that it is deffinitly not the most user friednly software out there. In fact ive heard that neptune is the most user friendly available for tuning hondas right now.
since when does jeff not tune with neptune??? :picard:
pretty sure he tunes w/ neptune, hondata, standalone etc:roflpicard:
According to my friend who just bought hondata from him, right now. Maybe I suck at memory, but I’m about 99% positive he does not tune w/ anything other than hondata.
Jeff used to be the only guy in the Northeast tuning NepTune. He had it on lockdown until recently due to an arrangement with the guys that made the software that has since ended, allowing other tuners access to the software. If he stopped tuning NepTune simply because the people that make the software decided to open things up to more dealers that would be a bit silly.
I’ve tuned NepTune, Crome Pro, Uberdata, and Hondata S100, S200, S300 systems on OBD1 Hondas as well as various standalones and piggybacks. NepTune and the Hondata S300 are the best options of the bunch in terms of software capability and quality of interface, lack of bugs, etc. NepTune has some features the S300 doesn’t and those having someone tune their car don’t have to pay hundreds of dollars for the S300 hardware if they get NepTune. That makes it the better option for most customers.
Ya, then I probably suck at memory.
ever used either? ive used both, the reason jeff wont tune neptune now is because james (creator of neptune) starting giving tuner licenses to people closer to him so he did not have a monopoly any more, basically they had a falling out and jeff made his decision based off that and nothing to do with the actual way the program works (flawless btw, never had problem with neptune rtp/demon when had all sorts of problems getting s300 boost by gear, and datalogging to work)
