It went in through his nasal cavity. Some crazy shit. The best part is, because of the way his nose flapped back over the entry, they didn’t know it was in there until they saw the x-rays. He just thought it smacked him in the face and broke his nose.
damn man that sucks… my older brother was involved in a forklift accident at work that ultimately lead to amputation of his left leg same spot, right below the knee… sucks too because he was a powerlifter and breaking world records at the time 
was compen$ated nicely though.

who is that?
That piece of metal is the hook portion of a ratchet strap. He was working on a job site using large centrifuges, and someone decided to use a ratchet strap to hold down the guard rail by the drive assembly. Well, the loose end of the strap got caught, and spun the strap around. When it hit the guard rail, the hook broke off and blasted him right in the face. He is honestly pretty lucky to be alive - and he did suffer any major damages - he just opened up his sinus cavity pretty well, and has a scar from his eyebrow to his lip.
