most of you already know, I went down hard on the 1st. ended up with alot of road rash, two broken bones in my leg. Final result = a titanium rod and 4 screws, plus me being out of work for 4 months. Not too smart on my part. But at least the bike was ok !!

I was just trying to take my mind off the fact that my leg was in two pieces and held together by skin.
p.s. the best was when i told the state trooper couldnt touch me to help take my gloves off because he didnt have any protective gloves on. That made me chuckle in the ER

Within three weeks the guy is healing real well, and the bike will be as good as new next season, w00t.

update, arm and all road rash related wounds 100 percent healed. all stitches/staples are out, and I just tore off the last of the steri strips. here are two comparisons to the wound on my leg…

Here’s a good pic to start out with… It’s from October 9th, about two days out of the hospital (notice my leg is still yellow from the iodine they used in the operating room)
Here are two pics from the 29th, notice how much smaller the wound is. the scars on the top and bottom are from where my surgeon went in and opened the wound up more to give him better access to the bones and tissues affected.
