What would cause a fuel pump to work sometimes and other times not? This is for a Honda in tank! IS the pump bad or is there something else wrong here?
wiring? bad connection?
the pump can get hot and overheat thus sometimes working. does it pop the fuses?

Main relay. do you hear the relay clicking under the dash like it usually does when you first turn the key on? you should hear the relay click on once, then 2 seconds later click off.

usually happens right after putting gas in the car. It will start up and just die and not restart for a bit. I had the same problem with my red car. I think the main relay was 50 bux or so from a dealer and simple to replace. Havent had the problem since
1991 accord ex ,the pump runs sometimes and sometimes it doesnt!! My crx have this prop also when it was hot out ,but this does it all the time now, i dont here the relay but i do have bad hearing!!
It probably is the main relay…honda issue…get another…
