whats up f
anyone know what are the stock injectors, in either cc or lbs per hour, and how much can the stock fuel rail support? thanx
in what? a KA? or SR?
ka24de 1993
270cc.
The injectors as is should peak at around 170-180whp or so I believe. Would also depend on the duty cycle and whether an FMU or what not was involved if for a boosted application.
For the rail itself, i’m not sure.
thanx a lot bro
what fuel pump and injectors do u use in your 93 ka24det, b/c i am doing up the exact same motor 1993 ka24de, any info would be wicked like size and flow, my application will prob include a tubular exhaust manifold, t3/t4 turbonetix turbo, cams, valves and mabe pistons and rodes. I am looking for anywhere between 200-400 hp to the wheels
you cant really pick injectors for a range of 200-400hp buddy
valves are the essential upgrade for KA-T, good call.
I wouldnt worry about upgrading your rodes tho, the stock rodes are good for at least 300 RWHPOMG
well the engine i am rebuilding has 290000k on it so i am thinking about getting new rods. just so down the line i don’t have a issue
I’m still using the 270’s and a Walbro 255 fuel pump with an 8:1 FMU to keep things rich under boost. Not really the best setup at all by any means, but i’m only running low boost (5-7 PSI) for now.
Ideally you’d want 370-550cc injectors and an S-AFC or E-manage to control them. Other ideas would be a different MAF to flow more (usually Z32), a wideband to monitor accurate A/F ratios, or an ECU upgrade.
You’ll need time & research to piece it all together so take your time and only start when everything is totally ready.
thanks alot for the advise
it means a lot, and i am definately not going to rush anything, b 4 anything i have to take it to a machine shop so i can clean it and make sure that there are no cracks in the block
