Funny For Sale Ad! Bimmer Forum

This is a great M-coupe. Ive had the car for about 2.5 years and it has been babied the entire time, never tracked or driven hard. Maintenence has always been done preventatively, before it was actually needed. Better than waiting for things to wear out.
Has about 89k miles and silver paint and black leather interior still in great shape. All fluids are clean and she runs tight and quiet. The M coupe is a two owner car with a clean carfax and never lived in a rust state.
Suspension is stock height with Bilstein shocks.
It ran a 2.23 at Thunderhill Raceway last summer, even in the blistering heat (had to call it a short day due to overheating form the weather). The steam freaked me out until I realized that it was just a punctured radiator hose (it had been patched but the patch failed).
Only flaws are brakes are near the sensors (well one is past and maybe just a hair of metal scraping the rotor), and the tires are down to wires.
Otherwise a beautiful car.
Pristine car for the cheap price of $13k.

$13k?

That is a hell of a pick up for sure

LOL nice…

1st he says…as been babied the entire time, never tracked or driven hard.
then he says…It ran a 2.23 at Thunderhill Raceway last summer, even in the blistering heat (had to call it a short day due to overheating form the weather).

um… what does he consider a track

“never straight line raced, so its still pristine … but i sure beat the fuck out of it around corners”

“Maintenence has always been done preventatively, before it was actually needed.”

“Only flaws are brakes are near the sensors (well one is past and maybe just a hair of metal scraping the rotor), and the tires are down to wires.”

hahaha

Let me get this straight: You overheated your car at a racetrack and ran the tires down to the steel doing hairy burnouts?

Cool

thats an average price for a 99… has the 328is motor

Even 99’s had S52’s Thom.

I wouldnt hesitate to buy it pending leakdown, compression, and diff/floor non ripped confirmation. I test drove a few before buying the sedan.

i would totally buy an m coupe with an s54. s52, meh.

and I know I will get hated on, but I like the m roadster

oh,my bad. what year did they come with the s54 (315 hp)

for some reason these remind me of the car the ambiguous gay duo drive

I <3 the ol’ clown shoe

I dig these

'98 - '00 they came with the S52 /e36m3
'01 - '02 they came with an S54 /e46m3

alright, 328is motor with head and cams… but they are fun to boost

And displacement increase of .4L.

Really just the same motor
