i’ve actually been kicking around the idea of picking up an LT1-body Fireturd shell when my garage is usable again. But I also want to restore a CRX. And put an LS1 in a 318ti.

I guess I must have dreamt about the money I spent on my G13B into a Metro swap… and Jeff (bigblockelcamino) must have also hallucinated ever working on that car…
I had a quick car again, for all of a month or two. I really wanted to keep it, but it still needed more work for inspection, and I was paying over $200/month for my share of a garage, and my mom offered me her car (inspected and in excellent shape) for under $300. So I sold the Metro at a decent loss (I got about 60% of what I had into it), bought my mom’s car, and got out of the garage-renting a couple months later.
I’ll buy a project when my house is livable. I have two people who want to rent the other bedrooms, and my income from them will pay for the house. When I’m at that point, I’ll look at cars.
