I just signed up for Verizon’s DirecTV bundle. Land Line + 3mbit DSL + HD Reciever + Basic DirecTV + HBO = $98 a month. Switching to FIOS when it’s available would not be a problem. I rarely watch regular TV so this is a pretty good deal, IMO.
What regular TV are you losing out on?

I have no idea which is why I don’t care. All the shows I watch are either on 2, 4 and 7 or HBO.
basic dtv still blows cable away, so you def made the right choice.
welcome to real tv and how its supposed to look!!!

Don’t quote me but I am probably locked in for a year. I am 6 months into my Verizon account but I think it got re-extended a year out. It’s a contract rate so I don’t think they can change it on you…
