the paint sorta has something to do with it, some cars have a very HARD clear coat (ford). the major factor is washing technique/care for the paint.
if u know how to wash your car and take care of the paint, it will have very minimal swirling. IE: jesse (muscle50), ken (bladez) they both know how to take care of their black cars, both have verrrrry clean paint all the time
come spring i need a serious buff…even on my pearl blue you can see it…i need to learn how to wash also.
Thats because they are both garage queens, not hard to keep a car swirl free that only sees 3k miles per year on dry days. Its hard to keep a black daily driver swirly free especially around here.

fuck, even both of my cars always look fantastic. i dont know what were doing right… IMO the washing technique is KEY to have a great looking paint.

I have a great washing technique but fucking BMW jet black is the softest paint ever, it swirls when its windy out. If you dont use a rotary on it you will never get a swirl free finish either.

i hate dark colors with a passion, not worth having it even if it does like amazing when clean, 95% of the time it looks like shit
