but michaelblanyer the SE is just the base model grand am theres the SE and the GT which the only difference between the two is the body cladding and the suspention, you can get the same engine options in both cars.
ya and most of those engines were also in the Cavalier and sunbird… so don’t think the Grand Am was a god or something…

when did i say that? the jbodies came with the LD2 LD9 and eco, never had the LGO or any of the high output engines like hte Nbodies did.
If he has the quad 4 in the GA then I would have to say that he would own a single cam crx

all CRXs in America were single cam.
HF - 62hp SOHC D15 8 valve
DX - 92hp SOHC D15 16 valve
Si - 108hp SOHC D16 16 valve
now, in Japan, there were two DOHC CRXs:
Si - 133hp DOHC D16 16 valve
SiR - 160hp DOHC B16 16 valve VTEC
