any of your gamers use nice headphones?
ie. turtle beach, tritons, astro’s, etc?
im looking into getting a set and wondering what some of you have and what some of you prefer? so far im looking at the 75-150 range.
Turtle Beach FTW. XB360 though.
what model? im looking at the dpx 21 maybe or just the px 21. some say tritons are better. :dunno
Turtle beach wireless non surround sound is FTW, For the price the surround sound ones just aren’t really worth it. That and you can find the surround sound box on ebay for mad cheap since it doesn’t do all that much over the regular headphones
Turtle Beach FTW also for Xbox. The tritons suck if you have a big head.
I have Astro a40’s the audio isn’t superior to the turtle beach but the comfort, build quality and customer support have all been fantastic. If you’re on a budget the turtle beaches are the best bang for the buck.

are you saying the headphones are the same only thing difference is the box? and the box can be bought seperatly?

called a few places most only have the px21’s. couldnt find the dpx21s in stock. to order them or just get the px21’s. FML.
Def buy cordless. I love the turtle beach set I have but can’t stand the 20’ cord that loves nothing more than to twist up and get tangled in shit.
I’m using cordless as well, but some other people have noted that sometimes I can make an echo when talking with them on XBL. As soon as I unplug the jack out of the headset and plug it back in, echo goes away and it’s good. Only problem, really, is going through AAA batteries. Since I don’t recharge, I just buy big packs of Energizer for like, $8-10 and they last me prolly 5-6 months.
I think mine are X41 or X71 for model. Something like that.
Right now wireless isn’t an option.
Edit. Just bought the newest ps3 ones. They are wireless but charge via usb. It was either those or tritons as they didn’t have the turtlebeachs I wanted.
I have those and use them with my XBox/PC/TV/Music/Movies, etc.
Freakin love them. Ultra high-quality. Best $140 I ever spent on something I use with EVERYTHING.
My PC is connected to a splitter which is also connected to my TV. That one cable goes to my speakers (which I then plug the headphones into). So, all of my audio goes into my speakers.
