I have no idea what I did, but while plugging a few window switches in a 2000 Altima trying to find a replacement one that actually worked, some smoke came out under the steering column. I quick took the key out and unplugged it, put a different switch in, and it worked. Well now the gauge lights do not work at all, the digital odometer light is on when the lights are off but not when they are on, and the shift indicator lights are off. All gauges work, exterior lights, climate control lights, dome light, etc. WTF did I do and how can I fix it? Electrical is not my friend.
secu controls everything in that car its under the dash to the right of the colum it will be black blue or silver… its prolly blown up due to the wrong switch or something…
