Shouldnt the shipping be split per item, not per buyer?

obviously people who buy less or smaller items will pay less of the shipping.
i just say that it will be split 13+ ways because it is easier than explainig exactly how it will work.
i did describe it in one of the posts i made a few pages back.
essetially we will base it on price.
here is how i worked it out before, lemme know if you htink it should be adjusted:
person X buys $150 worth of product in a $1500 buy. shipping and customs equals $400.
that person would then pay $40 of the shipping or 10% because they bought 10% of the order.
does that sound fine?
i dont think it will be possible to account for weight because i would have to weigh each piece individually and the shipment as a whole to figure all that out.
Oh alright, I thought you were planning on splitting it exactly 12 ways, as there are 12 buyers. Nevermind me then.
it is looking like it may be 14 or even 15 ways by the time this is finished.

i had to send an e-check, but that wont clear for a few days so we are discussing otehr payment options to get this stuff out today, it might turn into tomorrow before payment is settled.

what really gets me is their customer service…

the woman got pretty upset and rude with me… you arent supposed to do that when you are a customer service representative for a big company like that.
they really really need to fix that.

I don’t find the stock shifter that bad, and I prefer it to some of the ss that I have tried.
if you guys would like to get a better idea of what is going on with payment and such i would prefer to keep it in the members section…
but how knows, it might go off without a hitch tonite or tomorrow.
