So i was going to put some transmission/gear oil into the SR tranny, any suggestions on sae, Nissan dealership is in shop supply only (whatever) and my dealerships tranny oil is no suitable, anyone know what i should put in? (fancy redline stuff or just regualr gear oil …20w40 i hear?)

yeh, i will get that probably , but i want just oem Nissan gear oil, i was wondering if its the same as the ka24e’s tranny oil, most likely?
As long as its GL-4 you can use it in the transmission
Dont forget V-LSD additive. I dont think redline has that. I just dump a tube of additive in before I fill mine.

Correct. You only need the additive with clutch type diffs.
