my hud is acting very weird lol. it was working when i bought the car. then it stopped. i know this is normal but then after a while it starts working again. but instead of reading 0km/h when stoped its all over the place until i start moving. then she conked out again. today i just realized that when i turn my hazards on then off it comes on aha. but like before when im stopped its all over the place but when im moving its working. any one know what causing this.
I have the same thing but with the tach…comes on spontaneously.
I’ve taken the HUD out a buncha times so the harness could’ve been damaged.
I’m gonna get the wiring diagram soon…I’ll post it here

aha. im thinking its just a bad connection.
Likely a poor connection -the black connector beside the HUD connector on the back of the cluster can give you issues like this . I just tested 6 different HUD clusters and 2 had a similar issue - my coupe is setup with an extra set of main harness cluster connectors coming thru the console so I can test/drive with a second cluster plugged in
