girlfriends horn suddenly stopped working?

04 cavy only around 20k on it but it just stopped workign all of sudden. any clue on how to fix or waht to look for? thanks

the driver stopped blowing

Im assuming youve already cheacked for other failed elctronics, such as the cig lighter, dome lights, and such?, and all the fuses so i m saying look in the
BCM above drivers kick panel, brown plug pin B7, black wire negitive trigger and test it see if the signal is really there, this would indicate that the problem is further down the line, or go to the horn itself and check for 12v and ground.

A wire probably fell off…

Tell her run down to advanced and get some horn fluid for it:D Does her high beams still work:naughty:

i’d check the fuse first.

send her up.i’ll fix it!

its in the steering wheel,i do beleave! just a wire but BECAREFUL OF THE AIR BAG!

with 20,000 miles im guessing its still under warranty. just take it to the dealer.

Sounds like a loose ground to me.Then again it could be the horn relay.

Does it click at all when you hit the horn button? Cavaliers have the horn go out a lot—it seems that there mounting location tends to allow water and other debris to actually get into the horn. After a while, they stop working.

But…Check the fuse first, then the relay—if it is neither one of those, you’ll probably need a new horn-- I got mine from Flower’s in Smithton for my old Cavy.
