Girls car is back under the knife.

congrats welcome to the big red club

This happened to it:

Nice way to start a monday. Apparently ASS got vandalized last night. They took a joy ride in a race car and backed it up the hill. Broke into a few cars and went at it with my Jetta.

First and foremost, if you’re lurking on here, which I am sure you are. Fuck you. Better hope we don’t find you. Second off, you retards left the hammer head you threw through the back window, 3 sockets you used to take my shit apart and I am sure enough finger prints all over the place to prove it was you. And your fucking retarded to think you can pry a door open with a tool (Painted in blue because you transferred some paint to my car from it). Anything built past 1965 doesn’t just pop open with some leverage.

He is an est. list of what you took.

GT3076R vband turbo. Hot side is painted silver VHT Flame proof. And the impeller blades have a few small chips from a part of my air filer getting sucked in at one point.
-4 oil feed with 90 deg swivel red and silver Aeroequip ends
-4 coolant feed, red/blue earls ends
-8 oil return, earls ends
-8 coolant return, one earls end one is a banjo
Billet coolant filler neck, with -4 an fitting welded in on the side by me.
Temp gauge coolant res cap.
Water to air intercooler core, center inside out.
Two Stainless charge 3” pipes, wrinkle coated black. Also built one off by me to fit only that car.
TIAL 50mm BOV
Even took the $2 breather filter from the valve cover! Lol
20LB fire extinguisher, unbolted the bracket and all from the trunk.
Auto meter Cobalt Digital gauges:
-Oil temp
-Oil pressure
-Coolant temp
-boost
But you stupid fucks forgot to get the sending units while you were right there disconnecting my stainless braided lines.
The VW triple gauge pod they were in, (I cobbed it anyway you your gain, my loss)
VW MK4 column double gauge pod. Black, slightly deformed in the back for clearance, and 1/8th in hole drilled in the back of one of the pods.
Innovative LC2 Wide band gauge. Didn’t even look, but did you even get the controller for the gauge??? Gauge has a “rainbow shapped” scratch in the front from the back of the steering wheel rubbing on it.

That might be it for parts. No on to the body damage:
2 doors need to be replaced.
Roof needs a re-spray.
Back window
Hatch needs a re-spray because you were kind enough to say “THX” in oil and glass shards in the paint when you were done.

All in all, good job fucking my car up. You took a bunch of ONE OFF parts I made myself, a turbo that has been painted and has minor damage to it, gauges without sending units or controllers, custom pods… Lots of good shit you A: Will have a hard time selling, B: Will give away the car they came from and C: If you get caught will, earn you a beat down for your troubles.

Fellow friends of shift. Let this be an example, of why it might not be a good idea to post up a build thread. AND, if you happen to see any of this shit for sale, that meet the VERY WELL DISCRIBED condition above, feel free to get a hold of the Colonie PD, and first and foremost PM me.

HOLY FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!

shit, that blows Mike.

I heard about that earlier from another member here and I heard Daryl is taking care of the situation.

Ill lend a hand in the beat down if you ever find these bastards.

Look out for Jetta V2.0.

little sneak preview.

PRECISION billet and ceramic goodness.

air-to-air FMIC

No… just no,

yeah well i guess until someone ousts my performance from my car with an equal setup i will preach on.

HA.

I could have put the numbers you did down with the 3076 the way it was 2 weeks ago through a stock SMIC. :tongue

Keep on preaching broski, our new goals are your old numbers + a stock 1.8t AWP.

You never dynod your car and not everyone cares about quarter mile times. So preach on but we like to try shit out and build it ourselves not brag about a cookie cutter setup with all off the shelf parts

OUCH!

truth hurts sometimes. :lol

rip him apart! :rofl

there was nothing “off the shelf” about my setup when i did it. my kit was the 3rd bottom mount PPT kit ever made. 1st with the PPT FMIC.

but yes, off the shelf.

atleast my car didnt almost catch fire though :lol

cant say that because you didnt. and never would on that setup because its long gone.

Cant be LONG GONE, they made off with the shit on bicycles for fucks sake! lol

but look at the figures, lets bench race a lil. Bigger turbo, more fueling, same timing as eurodyne, more boost, shorter charge pipe lenghts, shorter higher flowing exhaust. No doubt it would have made more power than that 3071 setup could have. but we will never know will we. you will just have to wait on the edge of your seat for the PTxxxx, 75mm tb, home brew mani, will pump out. :rofl Nothing against yetti, but we are goign to blow his car out of the water dyno wise (until he builds the motor).

O its so on…

:ponder

Put a lock on this please.

Albany Speed Shop / Krazy Kid Kustoms 2004 Jetta track car build thread will be started soon.

my setup was the same kit i put on my car in 2006. i was pretty satisfied with how it was. ive told you the plans i had for it. but then interest in the car disappeared.

except for the AWIC/unisucky its pretty close to what you have planned.

i was all setup to get a PPT Vband/6262, SEM or APR(i like it better, and its proven better) RS4 TB(75mm) Tapp M7/Bosch hi-z1000s, IE 044 surge tank, the head you are talking about that arnold has was on the table and up for grabs.

i just hope for your sake you dont fall victim to what is becoming more common with the 1.8t, which is losing a valve (supertechs, which is why i said Ferrea in the other thread) because bye bye block, head and turbo. would be a shame for sure.
