give me your 2 cents...

I’m expecting some long drawn out answer about how autox is amazing and blah blah blah

I enjoyed my 300ZX targa. I got so quick at pulling them out that I’d do it at red lights.

I loled

Supra was a targa, it was a pita to remove & replace but awesome when the weather was nice.

Oh?

oh and I guess my car was t-tops, not targa top

I’ve only had a T-top fbody and it was one of my favorite things about the car, to cruise with the tops off.

Love T Tops so 80s

This.

Just get a convertible.

if this guy wasnt in FL i would consider making an offer…

For $15 I’d buy it.

FS: 1989 325is BMW E30 (S52 OBD 1) - $15

PPI and ship it?

Fuck that’s a sweet car but $15k the dude must be high. Like dan said ppi and ship it if you can get a good price on it

buy newmans E30

that’s what I’m sayin to you.
(also your steel is being cut today)

You fucking idiot. You mentioned you are considering a MK6 TDi. They have HPFP failures and turbo failures. The really cool part is when the turbo fails, it also takes out the DPF filter. Nice $4,000.00 repair. Ask me how I know.

Different strokes. I thought it was a nice comfortable dd. Not a ton of power, but those motors do well with boost.

I liked the interior though. Early models are prone to delaminate, but newer models were pretty crispy. I guess I’m partial to vintage appeal though. I like the vader seats as well

Ahhh I haven’t really seen too many HPFP failers a handfull at best, (especially after the redesign)
I also Tune out DPF and Delete that stuff…
and turbo failers are really mostly on the Passat. and he was not looking at a Passat.

My brother in-law has a '11 TDI with 300K kilometers (canada) on it. other then DPF deleting it around 250K its been trouble free.

LOL Angry Matt ive missed you

Dre, those aren’t vaders :o

yeah the research I was doing on vortex said that they were pretty reliable after getting rid of the DPF

Ha I know, it’s my sedan. That’s why I said “also.”

though when hen I had my black sedan I put Vaders in it. Big improvement.

This thread rekindles my e36 M love.
