Last night I was at a friends party and my Russian fling from last year showed up. Now mind you I hit that all last summer, and once this summer at the very beginning, and havent talked to her since. She was all pissed at me but I smoothed that over in like 5 minutes… She asked me several times if I would be crashing at the party or going home. I told her I wasnt sure. Then I went to leave and went to give her a hug and she says to me “you can have a lot more than a hug tonight if you want it… and you can have it any way you want it…” :eek3:
but I know that if I would have gone for the easy pie it would have messed up the much nicer (although harder to pin down) pie that I have lined up for myself. Plus I would then again be expected to hang out with them and take them places and all that stupid annoying shit that I was trying to avoid in the first place. So i think I made the right decision, but god damn was it hard.

i have a similar dilema, i’ve liked this one chick for two years, finally gotta a chance to talk to her but ended up talking to the best friend instead. the one girl is said to be up and down as far as her moods and goes through guys like a pair of socks but the best friend is a 22 yr old virgin and seems like more of a long term option. i said i’d go for “the dream” but the more and more i think about it i’ll probably try for the best friend.
