Gladman finally paints his KA-T! *Pics*

mmmmm ES100

Meh… those tires are weaksauce…

but why would one do that… wont the tire rip off somehow or something close to that haha, its illegal too i bet.

Hey I just got a stupid idea I’ll run 185 width tires and get htat look on my small rim :greddy2:

yeah it’s probably very illegal and wouldn’t be smart to run on the street
but for someone looking to take stretch to the extreme it would be fun.

For me, the worst thing about stretch is that the rim protectors that most tires have built in to them become useless… as you can see in those pics the rim clearly sticks out further than any of the rubber. My rims are like that too and it sucks, I gotta be SO careful.

That’s gay and retarded. I don’t care, I’m not gonna waste my time defending my views against a bunch of JDM obsessed ricers. You guys are just as bad as the honda crowd with their sunken wheels.

im so lost :x

whats gay and retarded? use the quote button !

The pics of the weird japanese dude and his overstretched tires.

Mr. Negative lately!

I just really have a problem with this forum’s definition of good wheel fitment. There’s no understanding of the fact that beauty comes from simplicity and moderation. People just want to cram the largest, lowest offset wheel that may or may not even fit. And if it doesn’t, time to butcher the fenders and run -20 degrees camber, just so you have that JDM look. I hate it. People were jumping down a guy’s neck for running 10" +35, that’s damn near flawless offset. What did they think he should be running instead? 10" + 15. That doesn’t even fit. At all. If you wanna know what looks good, go look at a Porsche 911 or Ferrari, or any other supercar’s wheel fitment. THAT looks good, not the rice we try and run here.

agreed.

Andrew.

I am happy with this fittment… not crazy, but it looks proper… if I had a skinnier tire, it would need maybe 5 or 10mm spacer, but I like a beefy rear end.

Fronts will be flush soon, and the car is 1" lower now at the proper ride height, with a camber adjustment too.

Stretching = cosmetic. Cosmetic = RICE!!! (at a point anyways)

edit for my buddy Johnny and his family
OVER stretching = cosmetic…

in my defense, i made a bad call on offsets for my wheels and because of that i’m forced to run tires with a bit of stretch… next time around tire wise im going to try for 265 or 275’s on the rear somehow… then my stretch should be minimal

heres my stretch and fitment (before it was dropped…)

Theo your car looks hot

Both your cars fitments look quite good.
I can’t tell for Theo’s front b/c the wheel isn’t facing forward, but the rears look perfect imo.
Jammin’s front looks good, and I can’t see the back well in the pics.

^^ I thought I was a ricer because of my uber stretch? (it’s barely stretched)

wow flush wheels. All 240 owners choose flush wheels over function. Once again everyone is bickering over who has the bigger dick. SHADAP!

Jammin do you have rubbing issues at the track? Serious question, not being sarcastic. I know with my suspension settings and those wheels I would rub up front.

Theo, go to the track and beat her like she owe’s you money

Andrew.

I didn’t say that your tires are uber-stretched and ricey… I never saw your car before this.

Thanks man

You think 16’s are form over function?? I don’t, and a conservative flushing does look hot.

She doesn’t owe me a single cent… I drive it like it was meant to be driven, if I owned an F355, I would drive it almost the exact same -almost!! See you on saturday Andy!!

havent been to the track but i have a feeling that it wont rub with 12/10 spring rates

car isnt ready yet - still in the shop being built and yadda yadda

i’ll let you know once its done and i can make it out to a track day

^Neat still RBing your car huh.

Well tell me, what rims are those i mean sizes and offsets, and then tire width and profiles?

Plus I guess it would be different if you guys are running coilovers rather than the huge struts… as they are bigger than the coilovers, eg; in the front… the spring and strut are so big in comparison to a coilover which is tiny… as far as i know… with my rims… heh… skyline gts-t type m rims i got off ebay lol… one could fit 225 rubber on them…but… up front there would be spacing issues… it would hit the strut… and in the rear would have been fine but then i decided to stick with 205… The offset was +40 and the rim is 6.5" wide…

I know I could have gotten better rims but alas… they are still nice heh…
