GM = General Tso's Motors

you smell that LZ? That’s the smell of job security … and MONEY

lol jk … but seriously

The FBI is trying pretty hard to spread the word, but people don’t really like listening to the FBI.

Yep. You either need to match population growth & pension contributions or try to backfill with inflation which presents a long term dilemma.

China pretty much owns us. Wait till they import their low wage workers here to rape our infrastructure and resources. Is turnabout fair play considering what we did to them with inflation & our petrodollar?

I’m looking forward to China copying the Camaro and other domestics

Oh and more http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-05-01/china-cyberspies-outwit-u-s-stealing-military-secrets.html

I <3 General Tso’s…I just had some.

Low wage chinese workers already exist in America. We don’t call them that, though. We call them “College Student Interns”.

LOL, no doubt. I’m talking straight up factories though, not illegals or students.

“graduate assistants”. Some even pay the school so they can work (usually on the snooziest of research).

This is crazy. the amount of short term damaged they did to the companies is ridiculous. I cant even fathom the long term damage/consequences we are going to see from these attacks…

also, we only knew about this because this was brought public, imagine what kind of shit the US is pulling on China which will never see the light of day.

The chinese have been doing long-term damage to American companies for a long time. Just look at Nortel networks. Or should I say Huawei? Or should I say Norwei? LOL, Nortel equipment was running at Huawei for like 9 years before Nortel dissapeared and all of the sudden Huawei is selling Networking equipment all over the globe. Hell, Huawei has been sued by Motorola AND Cisco as well. They cloned a Cisco device so closely that the same typos even exist in the manual.

It happens constantly to smaller companies too, it’s not just Fortune 500s at risk. Smaller companies can’t afford good security, so they fall victim to hackers and stuff.

The US isn’t doing shit to China nothing worth taking and the US can’t figure out how to properly respond to on going attacks.

It’s a lot easier for their government to hack us and then hand the tech over to companies there. Mostly because of the Communist government and the way companies are run.

Cyber security is pretty solid field to be in or get into for the next 10-15 year at least.

Hell China hacked RSA to get their secure token(two factor) code just to go hack specific defense contractors - http://www.darkreading.com/attacks-breaches/china-hacked-rsa-us-official-says/232700515

The People’s Republic of China has an office on Huawei’s campus. Yeah, needless to say, they are pretty well tied into the companies which reside there.

I’d also like to clarify that when I say, “The Chinese”, I am referring the chinese government and not any cultural group or anything. In other words, I’m not being racist. I’m totally cool with Chinese people. I just understand that the chinese government is hacking us.

more attacks originating from china

I thought that article was on freebacon.com. I was all about it.

sooooo 'MURICA has been hacking china for 15 years…

http://au.businessinsider.com/us-nsa-unit-tao-hacking-china-for-years-2013-6

I hate to be the guy that says I told you so. but the USA is one sneaky motherfuckin country. y’all have a bad track record when it comes to minding your own goddamn business.

You didn’t tell me anything

Governments always spy on each other however the in china they hack US public sector and hand tech over to companies in china

Everyone major country in the world spys on other countries its been like that since the beginning of time.

The US has a real issue with the direct theft of intellectual property from private companies being redistributed to companies in China since the communist government is involved in all of the businesses in China.

The level China does this on is amazing and its cost the US jobs and technology.

In 2009 Coca-Cola tried aquiring a company in China and it would have been the biggest acquisition by an company outside of China then they got hacked. http://www.networkworld.com/community/blog/coke-hacked-chinese-and-kept-it-secret

I agree with the US private sector being the primary target for the attacks originating from china. it sucks they resort to these methods to get into a certain industry, and since capitalism is on a obvious rise in china, I don’t see these attacks calming down anytime soon.

but I still stick with my opinion of the US being one nosy neighbor compared to other countries. I understand every notable countries have their hand in espionage but the US is on the top of that list.

Sorry you live in Canada some day they might be relevant in world history

I’m pretty sure if you compare any of the world super powers they all have massive spying programs.

ya ya, but do you have maple syrup? I THINK NOT lol.

I’m pretty sure if you compare any of the world super powers they all have massive spying programs.

agreed, they are all scumbags at the end of the day. but my tinfoil hat never lets me down

:frowning:
