i would love to see my place use the approach of design, develope, and prove the mproduct, then offshore it.

Yeah. Your kid(s?) aren’t going to grow up in THE dominant world economic superpower that we have. They can still be successful, it’s not like there’s only so much success to go around, but it’s going to be a different world.
