I entered this endeavor in the middle with a phone call from a friend saying that he has the caliper half way off, but its stuck. So, I go assess the situation and see that he does in fact have the rotor/hub ring loose as hell. So, talking to him, he tells me that he pounded the caliper to get the assem as loose as it is. I look closer and come to realize that ~I think~ the hub should be removed from the spindle, rotor pulled off from the assem, the new rotor put on, then the hub back on.
What is the correct procedure?
Thanks guys
:nevermind: I broke down and grabbed a manual.
