Saw four or five bikes on and around watervliet-shaker road yesterday.
I guess everyone looked at the forecast for the next week, said “fuuuuu!” and decided that windy and cloudy is better than rain for the next 10 days.
Weather looks good for Sat/Sun. I know its early, but I am crossing my fingers!
Yup fingers cross. Probably can’t ride to work this whole week, have to spend extra $$ for fuel… 
I might chance it tomorrow, only 30% chance of ISOLATED t-storms. Supposed to be 80.
Riding now suckers.

The report I got is 40% chance. My job requires me to be dry and presentable, so I am not gonna chance it…:rofl
Today was beautiful!! I did 110 miles on backcountry roads.
I started out by doing some exploring and found some great roads, but eventually I got lost :lol and nearly ran out of gas. Had to ask for directions to the nearest gas station since there was no cell phone service out in farm-land. Finally got to Schoharie (?) and filled up at a gas station that only had 87 octane :banghead
The ride home was much better though, since I didn’t have to worry about conserving gas.
I’ll try to map out the route on google, if i can remember it. The road starts near Thatcher Park and then runs down into the valleys. There is a nice 15mph turn that’ll catch you off guard if you’re not careful, and a bunch of 25mph and 35mph turns.

Didn’t see it in there. I’ll post it in that thread when I map it out. It’s nothing spectacular, but the location makes it a good quick afternoon ride. There are plenty of nice roads in that area, you could ride all day.

I used to have Sprint and then T-Mobile, the coverage really is pretty bad. Switched to Verizon, I got calls when I go hiking in the dacks…:rofl.
Not sure about AT&T but I have no complaints with Verizon in terms of coverage.

Nah I might try to get some buddys around here out for a ride and could meet up with some people on here.
So if anyone wants to come out for some riding respond in here prolly gunna head out within a hour or 2 maybe…

I’ll prolly be at DD on Lark street with the bikers around 10. A few of them should be there if someone wants to come out.
