Ran the bike Tuesday and pulled some decent times out of her.

Still not overly impressed with it yet but still decent condsidering the front isn’t straped down, it has stock gearing and suspension rates are unchanged from stock. I can’t keep the front wheel on the ground through first gear at all.
I was excited, thought I’d throw it out there and see what others are running.
From Quik: he has more drag bike experience than I do
tell him to short shift first gear, tacking out first only causes wheel lift
and with wheel lift you lose valuable time
when i launch mine i short shift first gear as soon as i can go WOT

also a burnout isnt necessary on a street tire. our tires actually become more greasy when over heated that all they do is spin. best thing to do is get a soft tire like a michelin pilot power. this is what i run now and i dont break it lose that much unlike when i ran other brands. this is on the street and everything including clutchups, powering around sweepers, and down shifting. this tire heats up great and is very soft and sticky. ive yet to track it yet cause of the blistering heat these days but if towards the end of the year and i still got some thread left on this rear ill head to the track to see if i can get my goals
