I put the el-cheepo Autozon rotors on my wife’s old prizm thinking “it’s a light econo car, like it matters”. Yeah, within a month they were pulsing like crazy. Last time I ever bought the cheapest rotors.
advanced autos prices arn’t as cheap as you’ll see with most autozone and pepboys parts, sometimes you luck out and their cheaper, but you get what you pay for in the end with them. I’ve heard alot of negative feedback about their “lifetime pad”, just chewing up rotors. Anyway in my opinion rotors at advance are quality and backed with a 2 year warrenty. I can honestly say that I havn’t had an issue yet.
show me that rocauto is cheaper than $25 per rotor shipped and I’ll eat my words and happily order from them next time I’m doing brakes on the gf’s car.
I put 4 rotors in the cart and it was $16 for shipping, so overall it’s similar. will have to keep them in mind when having the part same day is not a big deal.
Lifetime pads are always the cheapest POS pads you can buy and are a joke. I worked at a Napa and people were always bitching about how they could get lifetime pads for $20 bucks at Autozone and the reason is they are JUNK.
call cappys and get some centrics, theyre cheap, but better than the az and pepboys by far… oh and wagner has lifetime pads, theyre deffinatly not crap, they stop well and dont black up the rims… just get the edge line or what ever its called…
