Good shop for tranny swap??

My auto tranny just crapped out on me this weekend and I was looking to do a manual swap. I dont’ have the time or knowledge to do it myself so anyone know of a good shop in town that can do it at a fair price. I can source all the parts and I’ve read on other forums install (labour) shouldn’t take more then $500. Sound about right?

From what I’ve heard, it can be an 18 hour job. I guess it depends on the vehicle. It will be MUCH more than $500 for labor. I would try Autodream in Calgary.

Labour to do a clutch is usually about $300-$400, so Expect to pay $600-800 for a auto to manual swap. Parts are cheap.
