Nothing crazy. I guess a point and shoot would work…

I have this thing with taking pics of old buildings and such. I borrow my friends dads nikon. heavy as hell but its CRAZY the breifcase of lenses and such. Too much for me right now… Heres a couple pics i shot with it At this year world photo shoot day in schenectady in late july.

I gotta find the specs and put them up, that cam is nothing short of a-mazing.

ANYWAYS. looking to find a starter cam… maybe $250 range?

Ever think about maybe spending a little bit more and pick up a used but good shape DSLR? Then you can expand if you desired. You could pick up a Canon Rebel XTi for somewhere around $325 used with a kit lens. Might be something to think about.

Base Dslr is right up your alley.

Rebel Xl or similar will do fine, but other trims of the rebels are not much more when buying used so opt for those.

Save on body, buy good lenses that you could use on other bodies once you decide to upgrade.

Canon Rebel T1i suits me just fine, the few times I have actually used it for photographs.

1080p HD video is sweet though.
