I have an old school point and shoot. I am looking at getting a decent camera. My sister does photography and wants to sell me a cannon rebel xti. It has the lens and two memory cards. Told me 300 and i can have it. Does this sound like a good deal.
I’m assuming its the kit lens (18-55mm ef-s f/3.5-5.6). It’s a solid camera for a beginner and is certainly capable of taking some great shots. $300 is pretty much spot on for what they’re going for now.
Buy the D70 on here if it’s still available. Grab a cheap starter lens and go.
also, the rebel xti is a fine choice for your first dslr, and that price is ok as well.
I bought that exact camera off of mike125k and love it. Get a good lens or two and it is more than the average hobbyist will need.
