i usually see 30-40 deer the first day, i only saw 4 today, we’re putting dry cloths on now and heading back out.
They’re just going to lay today. Too warm, too wet.

Shot a doe with the ruger 480 superhawk at about 11:40 am, got him at about 25 yards then hit em again while running mid stride at about 35. I donated the deer so the meat goes to the needy, no need to be selfish cause i got two weeks to go.

Pussy, you took a doe 1st day :slap: I let 4 of them go, thats all I saw. 2 were close enough to shoot with a bow from my stand. I didn’t see any buck, however I did see a coyote, it ran across a trail below my stand, but he was flying and there was no way to get a shot on him. Ill be back out tomorrow morning.
