Probably gonna have to go that route. I just think it would feel good though to finally say “fuck this” and get rid of it.

Don’t really use G+ to much between all my non tech friends are on FB and my nerdy friends are on twitter
bump…
Not to say I told you so but…
Kinda sad cause I thought it was nicely built and easy to use. Facebook and twitter just beat them to the punch.
Back in the man pile…
I actually deleted my Google+ a few weeks ago. Was cool but no one in it.
Google+ isn’t as active with stupid stuff that Facebook is but the value added to Google itself is huge. They used to have a ton of metrics on the searching and now they can tie that info to specific users.
Privacy and “permissions” were also easier to setup and use on G+
Google should buy facebook tomorrow in a $120BB hostile takeover and bring G+ functionality to all of the users locked into Facebook. That’d be sweet.
I have no problem contributing to google+, using the explore tab and seeing the top trending items there are always things to participate in
There is a new local tab on the Desktop version of Google+ (it’s in Google Maps on smartphones and tablets). Basically it finds nearby eats, shops, etc. based on your location. It replaced Google Places and integrates with ratings from Zagats. Pretty cool.
Also anyone do a hangout yet? Did one with the fiancee and it worked really nicely, albeit we were a foot away from each other.
with the stock tanking, it might be a tad cheaper…
Bump because LOL!
Do they still have this as a thing?
Based on the “Google+ Profile” link I just found on under my profile in gmail I guess so. Somewhat related, I have 5 followers I didn’t know about on my google+ profile that I didn’t realize was even there. Of course the little “5 followers” label isn’t a link and I don’t see any obvious way to see who they are so that’s enough using google+ for the rest of my life.
