Got a Knock in my motor on the 6FO.... Harmonic Balancer?

Drove my car today and it was fine, put about 10 miles on it and I pulled up behind Ford exploder and said to myself its got a rod knock. It pulled away and I still heard the noise. Fuck, its my car. i pulled over and popped the hood and can hear a knocking. It sound like its coming from the Balancer though and not the crank. It is wobbling pretty bad. I believe its original. Would this make a knock noise like a rod knock if the rubber is shot? fast forward to 3 hours later I start it up again and the noise is gone. I drive it again and within maybe 7-8 miles it starts to happen slowly again. i think the rubber is getting hot in the balancer and getting it to knock. Again I believe its the OG balancer and its wobbling. I checked the mechanical fuel pump and its not knocking. Any input would be helpful. I will upload a vid of it running.

Wont embed vid, not sure why?

Photobucket videos are not supported with embed. Clicking the image works to send to the video page though.

Sounds like it needs an LS swap. @cougarspeed

I’ve seen some balancers delaminate and wobble and come apart. If you can see it visually wobble as the engine runs, it’s def coming apart, so I’d just change it and see if the noise goes away. If it doesn’t, I’d check your oil pressure with the engine running and warmed up

I ordered one today, it will be here tomorrow. It wobbes pretty good, it sounds like its wobbling and the two metal rings are hitting each other. The oil pressure is great. I will swap it out tomorrow and see. Pretty sure its not a knock from the motor because it went away and then came back.
