My neighbor that mowed my lawn for a really cheap rate is moving to PA, so I had to go out and get something to take over the lawn mowing. I actually missed doing it too, its been 5 years since I mowed the lawn.
Here is my new toy after looking at pretty much every mower on the market, I really liked how this machine was built/engine combo and pure simpictiy of maintence and operation.
Mowed for the first time on Sunday morning and I am very happy with it, excellent machine. And very happy with the sales and service of Bison Turf Equipment.
I knew someone was going to ask LOL. I am 400 x 75 ish, so under an acre still. But I have approx 25-30 full grown trees to go around. I know, its a bit over doing it, but this will be a machine I have for a long time, not something I will dispose of in a few years and if we move to something larger in the future this will do just fine.
This is one part of the yard, then there is more on the other side of the house, little smaller on the other side: My yard goes to the white house you see at the far end.
lol… yeah, that’s some serious overkill but I get what you mean about getting around trees and buying something to last. I want one of these things every time I watch the landscaping crew ripping around doing the lot at work.
I was going back and forth about cheaping out with a much cheaper mower, that would still probably last me more than a few years, but it was really hard to look back at them after you have looked a heavier machines. Plus I have alot of trees and roots in the yard, so a stamped deck is going to get killed in my yard after a couple years.
I already had to build new shed doors, that was saturdays project
On the straits you can hold both handles with one hand or I may pick up one of these:
8 x 10 I think. The fence is going in this week also (weather permitting as I look out the window not) can’t wait to not have to look at my neighbors shit anymore !
