Got a present for my car

There has been a big debate on the m forums about the new cheap headers via eBay… nobody was willing to try them out seeing as most of the guys cant turn a wrench and trouble shoot them… so i decided to snag a set… the seller of these new his stuff and actually had the “standard” china headers rebuilt to his specs, which meant thinner flanges to fit the stock studs and built in secondary o2 “defoulers”

the guys on the m forums have all donated close to 125 bux for before/after dyno’s to show that they make power

overall the welding looks pretty good, the penetration on the flange joints is pretty good, could be better, but the couple of welds that i can see the inside of down the tubing look to be pretty solid…

paid 126 bux for these, even if they break/crack i can fix them and its still better then 1300 dollars for the “real” headers that are mig welded mild steel (evosport)

flamesuit is on, cuz lets face it, you guys LOVE busting my balls but i am doing this to prove to the m forum guys that they shouldnt just take it up the ass on high prices for things such as exhasut/super chargers etc…

and i get 2 free dyno tuning sessions, so thats a plus

 to the china stainless and china jig

999 mig welded mid steel competition

others have and they were good, no sense “mocking them up” without just installing them
