Finally got a tripod so I can mess with night shooting. Here is what I ended up with. I went to another spot and as I was taking what looked like a beautiful picture, my battery died. I’ll have to go back to that spot sometime.
I think the pics are too bright. I edited them to compensate for my LCD (which is set a little darker) and now I think I regret it…lol…
Some of them look to have a slight bit of camera shake. One thing you can to do prevent this is to use the camera’s self timer. One reason they might get exposed a little to bright is due to the fact the car is black. When you focus on the car the camera exposes for it as well. You could expose for the head or tail lights then focus on the car. If you’re shooting canon, point the camera at the one of the lights and press the * button this should lock the exposure for the next shot. Then put your focus point on say the emblem.
Yeah I was using the self timer for almost all of them after I had some issues with slightly blurryness. Thanks for the tip with the exposure though, I’ll have to try that.
Holy ISO, they are grainy as fuck!

:lol JK, good pics man
That’s cause they were edited (brightness) cause they looked dark on my monitor at home. When I got to work, they were too bright and the grainyness was very noticeable…hence post #2.
Stop using the Wally World parking lot…:hide:
Looks good, I thought you parked next to me at 5 guys yesterday, but there was no yellow plate so I knew it wasn’t you
It had good lighting and that’s what I needed to play with lol.
Yeah, I had the day off and didn’t leave the house till 5pm lol.
