Do many of you who have had your cars broken into live in the suburbs? I am in Bethel Park and we have a one car garage and I leave one of our cars in the driveway all the time and don’t even consider a breakin as a possibility. Does this usually happen in the city when your car is parked on the street or is this happeneing in peoples driveways in nice neighborhoods?

that sux …I had a radio stolen out of my old ford work truck once came out to go to work radio was gone and my keys were still in the ignition were I left em the night before

Well, today it got to Bower Hill Auto Body which I hear is the right place to bring your classic or new car to Pittsburgh. I’m going to check the place out tomorrow.
They came highly reccommended from a co worked who has 15+ classics including a 396 Camaro, a few vettes, and other assorted cars.
I had that happen to me before as well man …I know the feeling you had when u saw it kinda like a punch in the gut mixed with anger. I had mine happen at Bethel park High Shcool when I was in class …what a joke …now I lock my car everywhere I go
I’m so pissed to even see this. It reminds me when my car was actually stolen, taken for a joy ride, and the motor was completely ruined. Boils the blood to the bone. If there’s anything you need or any parts I might have spare, or anything I can do to help, just let me know bud, I feel your pain.
Sorry to hear that. I wish I had some extra parts for you but mine were all broken(previous owner had the same thing happen). I’ve had one car broken into at Sharon speedway in ohio. They busted the window and half of the dash trim getting the stereo and stole my friends cd case with over 100 cds. It sucks. I’m getting pissed just thinking about it.

I’m going to check it out tomorrow and look over it thoroughly. I couldn’t bring myself to do more than take those pictures for insurance purposes that day. I’m going to try and grin and bare whats left of her.
stealing is lame… (just thought id put that out there) i havent had anything stolen but i had someone come up to my car window and punch me at a red light…i got knocked out. I don’t know maybe road rage? hmm who knows but sorry to hear that.

I’ve just accepted now that if I’m ever parking my car in the street I need to get a real alarm. It’s never a guarantee but if it’s obvious you’ve got one thieves are likely to move on to the next, easier victim.
Accept this as your hard lesson, get a good alarm before you buy anything else and then start rebuilding.

T/Adreams…sorry to hear about your ride. Mine stays locked in my garage & I rarely leave it out of my site. I had a Black '84 Buick Regal stolen years ago - they must of thought it was a GN. I’ll bet they were pissed when they found it wasn’t. Found the car a week later in Cranberry. Missing radio & some CDs.
