Sony just updated the Playstation Store with GT HD Concept. It’s a downloadable game for PS3. It only has one track and 24 cars.
There is a Time Trial section where you take the various cars around the track and compete for the best time. Your times are automatically posted on a internet ratings board and you can see how well you did against other in the country. Once you beat a specific time set for each car you unlock a new one until all 12 are open.
After beating the time trial version with the last unlockable car (Ferrari 599) you unlock tuned versions of each car and a Drift Time Trial. The object here is to collect points by drifting the turns of the previously mentioned track. Again, your score is posted online and you can see how you rank.
The graphics are insane. The cars look photo realistic and I don’t even have an HD TV. The physics seem like they have been tweeked as well. So far its a lot of fun and seems to be a sign of what is to come in the next GT.
I just can’t drift for shit…
