Anyone try this place yet? They moved into the old Sunoco that was there. I can’t tell if it’s ALL Full-Service, but it’s ~20-Cents cheaper than Delta Sonic across the street:
Heard about it on the radio, did delta go into bitch mode and not honor the price match?
I would go there just for the fact that they have a wacky waving, arm flailing, inflatable tube man.
Nope, it’s been a few weeks and they haven’t adjusted. I thought Delta had to have the cheapest gas within X miles, but maybe they found a loop hole on their own rule because this gas station has full service? No idea.
This.
And they are NOT cheaper than delta sonic. Delta sonic has been $3.54 gas only for as long as Green Frog has been open. Kwik Fill just down the street is $3.55 and I use my member card for 5 cents off per gallon so I’ve just been going there.

Where have you been seeing this? I gas up twice a week right across the street from Delta, they’ve been consistently at $3.54/gal, $3.51 with a wash. I will say I’m glad Green Frog has opened because it’s helped bring the gas price down in this area
I buy Premium, so maybe that’s where the discrepancy is. Check the date on this receipt and compare to their Premium price:
I paid closer to $4 last week at Delta.
Ahh wasn’t thinking of premium prices, just regular. Gasbuddy is showing they’re still at $3.79 right now for premium, so that is quite a savings if you go with Green Frog for that.
I know where I’m going to get gas right after work =D
I wonder if it has anything to do with the green frog in forrestville
Wow those are some cheap prices! Cheapest on grand island is 371 for regular. I get 5% off tops gift cards so its not bad but still that is ridiculous how far apart they are
Yes the owner has two locations. He is a friend of a friend.
Word on the street is, the guy who owns the green frog also owns some sort of refinery or something along those lines.
He is driving the prices down in the area, because he can.
They had the owner on the news…
He implied he was doing this at a loss right now to get business in the door.
I’ve been doing that for years.
I still don’t understand how 3.55 is a loss when I just filled up today in syracuse for 3.39. I know they blame location, but I highly doubt that’s the case. The only “loss” i can see is if he’s overpaying the gas attendants. But anyways, I LOVE that he is driving down gas prices for this city that has always been higher than the national average by at least 30 cents. I’m filling up at this place to promote this price lowering mentality.
By loss he probably means the money he could have made if his prices were higher, not that he’s actually selling for less that his purchase price.
ah, opportunity costs. But if he increases his prices to “market” values, there would be less volume in purchases and his bottom line would be the same, with less volume. So I don’t see a loss there.
Well, he was trying to promote his business on the news, lol.
This is right down the street from my work. Its amazing that people still go to delta for the 1 cent cheaper. No one at Kwik Fill 1 car at Frog and delta packed. Hell Id pay 10 cents more to not wait in line.
wow, i paid 321 down here in pa today.
kwik full gas is garbage, wouldnt even use that in my prius!
