grinding gears?

Stiffer suspension also puts more strain on the tranny. LOL

are u sure its a bumper to bumper used car warranty some used car warrantys dont cover manual transmissions

mine does it too. just be easy on it until it warms up. i have also found when when going into reverse, if you put it in first then reverse it goes right in.

I didnt read the entire thread, but if no one has mentioned it - I suggest changing your transmission fluid. Use GM Syncromesh w/ Friction Modifier. I actually use this in my Jetta, and it hasnt grinded ever since.

Just out curiousity, why is that? I heard several guys using gm syncromesh in their t56 to improve shifting. I’m assuming the friction modifier may wear components? Albeit the gear teeth are very hard, the grinding itself is going to do more damage.
