I bought a rotisserie that the nuts that were welded on are either stripping or the welds are not good enough so I want to take them off and weld on better ones. What is the best method to take these off? Just grind it with an angle grinder? Should I cut as much as I can off with my air high speed cutter then grind? Is there a type of grinding wheel that is better? I have to do about 12 and the welds are thick so the faster the better.
cut the weld with an angle grinder or cutoff wheel.
really the best option.
