hype or does this actually make a difference? never heard about it, till i started reading the forums for my car
ive read alot of people seeing brighter headlights, clearer music and a better idle from them but i dont know anyone that has used them personally.
it might be more benefical to older cars that have worn or corroded(sp) grounding points:dunno:
grounding the intake manifold close to the throttle cable helps with better spark.
whitey’s car doesn’t have a throttle cable
grounding points are 50/50 in my book… people claim upped MPG and better ‘power’ but that’s all BS… however, a bad ground is detrimental to a car’s performance…
i’d say, on a weekend go get some 8 gauge wire, some end caps, a case of beer, and replace a few here and there…
i used portion of one to reground my car, and i noticed nothing… but than again, i used the stock wire, and ran about 2 more grounds, and i really didn’t notice much…
smoothed out my idle pretty good that’s about it
look at it this way, it can’t hurt you accept for a few bucks for some wire and time.
more grounds are never a bad thing
i noticed my ac is colder and my headlights are a little brighter but dont buy a kit just make one that is what i did
yeah i have enought 4 and 8 guage wire to just go and do it myself for practically free…just wondered if anyone did it
It’s very popular in the Buick GN crowd.
Improved ECM voltage/performance and improved fuel pump performance…better ground path yields less heat(electrical resistence) better performance.
