Impressive. 3800LBS and AWD? Let the pig jokes BEGIN!
I’m not gonna call it a pig, but in comparing it to other sports cars is like comparing Rosie O’Donell to Nicole Richie.
Fuck that. If I have to hear all of you guys bitch about my car, then this car is a pig. The curb weight is more than my car. :runaway
COSSSEEEEEY.
woah woah guys…think about it. For example (yes, im going into Domestic talk for a minute)
Look at the SRT-8 Charger and the SRT-8 300C…how much do they weigh? around the same. But they have the 6.1 Hemi and make 425hp…now at the wheels, they put down around 370-380 depending on the car…and Bone Stock they are good for low low 13’s high 12’s all day long with good drivers…In stock form, I can image that this 475rwhp, 3800lb car, is going to be rather impressive.
I’d assume they’d have a different powerband too but given the power/weight, it should run HIGH 11s @ 116-118MPH.
yes…and how many factory cars do you know that can runs 11’s stock?? Besides the Z06, Cobra and cars that cost more then $125,000
I am aware it is impressive just stating it’s a pig. I should be allowed to do that.
I hear the ECU is tamper proof? That hurts that platform big time.
11s? Z06, Viper, hmmm… This? What else… About it?
Ariel Atom ^… and shawn my similie was saying that it is, indeed fat… sorry if that went over your head :tong
Long week.
This pig > your pig =).
So much engineering has gone into it, I wouldn’t expect it much less than that. Wait until the upcoming V-Spec version comes this way. Prototype testing on it has begun. I’m expecting around 150-200lbs less. Pray to God they don’t release the N-Spec/Group N here. 500lb less, easily.
The fact that I am reading that the ECU is hackproof = you screwed.
:lmao :banana thats hilarious…but very nice
Yep, they said the car is completely hackproof. No mods except for those from the factory. Way to ruin it.
i absolutely love the GT-R, but i just don’t know about it’s price tag :headbang
:crackup
you’ll just have to spring for the mine’s version… it comes with an upgraded ecu, and a bunch more bolt-ons. i’m sure there will be quite a bit of aftermarket support for it eventually.
The fact that the ECU is hackproof is a downfall for that platform.
Where there is a will, there is a way…
It is such a promising platform, there is a tremendous opportunity for some company to cash in and have a monopoly on the market if they come out with something. So you can be damn sure there are going to be people trying to cash in by trying to come up with some way of tuning it. If there is a demand, somebody will come up with supply, simple market economics.
its fat and fast but i still think its ugly, it looks like a cross between a 350z and the front end of one of the new lancers :confused
I wouldnt want to “hack” the ecu anyway. Perfect car to just leave alone and enjoy?!?
I’d agree but for any one that wants to “tune” the car or make fuel adjustments, they will need an AEM. That limits people who do not want to do that.
