This is Conky’s handywork…John in the sexy black caged S14 with the blacktop on RA1s. His rollbar mounted cam caught him chewing up the field of cars. I start chasing him at 3:47 and his lap times got faster under pressure until 6:50 when the GT-R is in front and it heats up.

some of the driving made me curious, people were riding the center of the lane as oppose to “edge to edge to edge” on some turns
riding the center like that requires more steering input and ultimaely slows you down
i know this is only a track day and not some time attack competition
but none the less very good driving, fun to watch

We were at dunnville yesterday and when i was riding along with dustin (Hurricane) who has zero suspension work with the exception of struts and shocks (ie: not coilovers), Eagle GS-D3 tires (great tires, but nothing compared to what you guys are running), z32 calipers on front and stock rears. no roll cage, 100% full interior, etc.
I timed one of his laps while in the car and he did a 1:13 also.
oh and for the record before i forget, i timed a single lap of fobwalls and got 1:15.
You guys are getting to fast…best time I put up was mid.1:15

I’ve really got nothing to compare to but how have you been timing yourself? the last couple of times I saw you it seemed that you were one of the fastest out there.
i think if we timed you that you would be keeping up just fine with the faster guys
Times were taken from track side with a stop watch, hot lap no traffic.
Same day the Red 944 was doing low to mid. 1:15s, same timer…

you would be amazed at how tracks can change too
some days when it is cold out adn the sun isn’t out the track has insane grip
sunny hot days are bad for power and usually greasey
in testing at shannonville with no front bumper long track i did a 1.53.8 with more power and a splitter i couldnt get under the 54s
we just had a weekend at mosport where everyone was 1.5-2.5sec off their best times, i was doing 29s and STRUGGLING to get there, with a decently happy car. the corvette JUST got into the28s, and it normally does 26s!
this is a good point… didnt really consider changing conditions as a factor…

Its hard to tell whats a fast lap in your head. Even this sketchy timing off video or stopwatches…you have to factor in things like reaction times, glitches etc…
Putting together your fastest lap is tough cause in individual laps you have great sections but other parts suck.
Only way to be accurate is the transponders…but I’m not putting that thing on until I hire Sasha as a driver, more potential there LOL.
I know the GTR is fast…perhaps faster then my S14…besides its a beutiful car. A little friendly competition is always fun, but i dont really appritiate hearing smack talk from different people regarding my Youtube vid…i hate shit talking…Ive recieved some pretty ignorant comments I dont wish to repeat…no more bullshit…
Perhaps we should race again but properly… This time ill have no passenger and then we will see what happens…besides…if im running 1:14 with a passenger when the car is already hot, then ill have no problems getting 1:13’s or even 1:12 if its just me in it…estimated of coarse.
Smack talking? really? Not by me - prolly some people that only race on the internet. I have respect for that car … I was grinding on Fuzzy, that strange afroboy (who is also my friend) when he said my car was slower after I took him for a pass.
