I am not familiar with it as well i was jsut going with my better judgement but i deleted that comment after Nate corrected me, hoping not alot of people saw that lol
the fuel pressure? if so how does the ecu control fuel pressure in this case. I thought a stock regulator is fixed. I understand its affected by vacuum and don’t regulators have ratios such as stock which i thought was 1:1.
I understand there is such things as a RRFPR (rising rate fuel pressure regulator). And electronic ones out there. But isn’t the typical aftermarket SR aftermarket still 1:1 but instead of 36psi u can change it to 40psi
so is this it? all the parts needed or recommended covered up? nothing else is needed?
(bump)
what the hype with all this rocker arm stoppers hype
chris and i have been beating our cars for 2 years and have not broken a rocker
danno at u2nDyno never broke a rocker without them, as soon as he put them in he broke one haha
^ lol. Thats what im saying.
I revved my shit up to 8 at some points (By mistake). No problems.
Seems to me, a rocker arm stopper would cause more problems then it would fix.
hmm first time i hear bad things about RAS, buddy of mine blew his sr du to miss shifting, put RAS first thing in his new sr, he missed a couple shifts and nothing happened.
I thought SR’s were known for floating rockers at high rpm?
so i just ordered, turbo manifold, turbo elbow, downpipe, gt2871r.64 with wG and 255LPH walbro pump, will post pics of the installation later when the rest is in hand…
Theres no hype really but its cheap and it does’nt hurt…
he said its how u make the car rich or lean… i was referring to that.
so for oil return line, how have people done this? I heard people bought OEM t28 lines, some stretched their t25, what parts do you reuse, what do u change?
Oil return line is a rubber hose.
so is it supposed to fit on the t28, or am I supposed to buy the OEM t28 oil return?
what you will need is the flange fitting fore the oil return for a t28 turbo. as the one off the t25 stock sr turbo does not fit. and use a length of high quality automotive hose to run from flanged fitting on turbo to oil pan. use something to tighten around the middle of the hose too so it doesnt kink.
well I jsut finished Installing everything, I’ll be missing the injectors and ECU but i will do that right before the tune( at the shop)
