GT35r A3 Del Sol

i is vtec i may start a thread soon but prob not.

so do u plan to have everything done for next season

yeah, i am hoping end of feb, and then trailoring it down for the tune

u should really step down to a 30R or step it up to a 1.8 block man

sleeving a 1.6 bottom end is such a waste…

im not gonna sleeve it, just run it and see what happens at the tuner

update:

Working on prepping the engine bay for the paint, enjoy the pictures.

That bay is screaming for stainless steel lines and a tuck, lol. Good luck.

update:

Got the primer on today, engine bay looks sooooooooo much better and nicer now, did a lot of sanding to clean it up.

it’s nice having a clean engine bay

looks good man. what are your final plans for the color scheme? sorry if u posted it somewhere and i missed it…

car silver, and the engine bay black

it would have been alot better to take all that shit out of the bay so it wouldnt be such a pain in ass to tape up…

wasnt to bad, easier to tape then to unbolt everything:)

UPDATE:

Just finished up the engine bay. Its all done and ready to be untaped and start to put back in the parts. I think it looks great for the first engine bay that I have ever painted myself.

hell ya very good improvement!!

Update:

Took off all the painters tape and started to reassemble the engine bay and put the lights I fixed back pn it. Next is to fix the hack job on the powersteering lines, after the power steering delete. Right now the rack is running dry and I need to refill it and add a reservoir, or loop the line:banghead:

God I love hack jobs:roflpicard:

update:

fixed the powersteering problem. Filled the rack and looped the lines.

Next is to mount the intercooler. Intercooler is rated up to 750 hp, I am hoping for 400-450hp so this new intercooler will handle the gt35r boost and cool it down with no problems.

Looks good man…

UH OH… everyone is going to flame you for that intercooler!

don’t worry about it, i have a similar one… i don’t think anyone here has anything they want to say about it after i beat them

looks good

I got it for a good price, brand new, and they can flame my taillights:burnout:

couldn’t agree more. i haven’t had one issue with my $150 4" intercooler. cools great, and i think i’m making a little power  i’m not one to cheap out on parts by any means, and i never thought twice about the intercooler
